Brand Story

A story that began around the table

MOKDA began in the spring of 2024, with the journey of a young Korean who set out for Latin America carrying a single bag.

Sharing a table with Latin American friends taught him that food goes beyond flavor. It is one of the most direct ways to understand a culture and the people who live it.

With Korean ingredients, a young perspective, and the sensibility of Korea today, MOKDA brings Korea closer to everyday tables across Latin America.

The name and the symbol

MOKDA comes from the Korean word 먹다, meaning “to eat.”

The sunrise-inspired graphic represents a new beginning and expansion. “MOKDA” and the Korean word “먹다” express the brand’s Korean origin.
